ABOUT DIEGO
Diego is a dominant and well rounded athlete that excels in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and free-running/parkour. He earned a starting spot on the varsity football team his freshman year. As a sophomore, Diego was a two way starter and was awarded 2nd Team All-League (Pacific League) honors as a Defensive Back and shined in the classroom by earning a 4.0 GPA. Diego followed up with an outstanding Junior year at CAHS, participating in Link Crew and other activities while maintain a 4.0 GPA and earning a 1370 on his SAT.
On the field, he is a tenacious defender while always posing a threat to score when the ball is in his hands. Diego’s strengths as an athlete are his speed, vision, agility, and power. In addition to being very coachable Diego also possesses important qualities such as high-integrity, adaptability, and a superior work ethic. His strong “leg” adds to his versatility and value as a football player. Diego easily and consistently kicks 50+ yard field goals and stays sharp by personally training with NFL kicker Nick Novak
Off of the field Diego lives in San Diego California and is the oldest of 4 siblings. He consistently serves in community outreaches, with organizations like The Hope Leadership Foundation and The Rock Church. He is also an avid artist that enjoys reading, playing percussion, producing music, and shooting & editing videos.
